The Boys Choir of Kenya

At First Presbyterian Church, 310 5th St. SE, Cedar Rapids, IA

The Boys Choir of Kenya is comprised of the very best voices from all of Kenya's premier youth choirs. They perform a wide-ranging repetoire, from traditional Massai and Samburu chants and dances to contemporary pieces by top composers. Their costumes are as varied as their songs, representing many of Kenya's 42 ethnic groups.

Tickets are $15 for adults & $7 for children and will be available at the door.
Proceeds from the concert will provide support for a capital campaign to build the Musical Arts Academy of Nairobi, Kenya (MAANK), the umbrella organization that supports the Boys Choir, Girls Choir and the Children's Choir of Kenya.
