May on Mays Island Concert: Cedar Island Band, May 17, 2008 5-8 pm. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7.00 at the Gate

An outdoor concert with a TWIST of Margaritaville! May on Mays Island, a tribute to the Year of the River, is set for Saturday, May 17th from 5-8 PM. This early evening party will be an opportunity for patrons to enjoy the first signs of summer-Jimmy Buffet style! The Cedar Island Band will be performing, along with costume contests and prizes from Dale Lee Distrubuting, who will be featuring the new Jimmy Buffet beverage Land Shark.

Patrons will be encouraged to gather together to participate in their best Jimmy Buffet style ensemble. Tickets will be $5 pre event and $7 at the gate. Must be 21 to enter the May on Mays Island party. Post party, participating downtown vendors will be open with specials running for those with a Mays Island party wristband! In the event of rain, the concert will be at Vets Coliseum on Mays Island.
