Diversity Focus, a non-profit organization devoted to enhancing the diversity of the Corridor, is pleased to announce the recent addition of Hazel Pegues, a 20-year veteran of the non-profit world, as the new Executive Director.

“Hazel brings a wealth of experience that will build and enhance Diversity Focus,” said Chris Lindell, of Alliant Energy and Chairman of the Diversity Focus Board of Directors. “Throughout her career, she has demonstrated the ability to build effective boards and work groups and motivate, organize and direct teams of paid and volunteer staff to reach strategic goals.”

Ms. Pegues joins Diversity Focus from Cincinnati, Ohio, further demonstrating the organization’s dedication to bringing diverse, educated and successful people into the Cedar Rapids and Iowa City areas.
